Top5 - My Favs For May 2009

I have been pretty busy this past month, so I won't be listing any of the play count this time around.  The most played track was only 6x's.  Yeah, sad.

Play The Playlist

1. "Private Affair" by The Virgins (>/+).  This was my #1 early in the month, but now #5 is.
2. "Take Me Home Tonight" by Eddie Money (>/+).  Heard this one on the radio and finally remembered to download it.  Not that I had never heard it before, but it was in that category of songs I never knew the title to or couldn't remember to get.
3. "Lullaby" by Shawn Mullins (>/+).  This track is a classic and another one that falls in the category of the #2 song.
4. "I Love College" by Asher Roth (>/+).  If you haven't heard this song yet, you'll either love it or hate it.  It is what it is, a song perfect for those partying it up at college.  I also thought when I first heard this that it was either by Gym Class Heroes or Eminem.  I was wrong, on both accounts.
5. "Don't Stop Believing" originally by Journey (from Glee) (Watch).  So I heard about this show Glee reading some of the pilot descriptions for shows that have been picked up and thought it was a perfect show for us to cover.  I wasn't wrong.  While I didn't enjoy the show itself that much, the music was outstanding.  This version, especially the female lead, is amazing.  Watch it and check out another cool cover of "Rehab" from the show below.
