BotW - "Do You Believe In Love" by Huey Lewis And The News
The question this week, do you believe in love of music? If so, you're in the right place. We're back with more great music uses and songs from the past week.
Grey's Anatomy brought us some great music, but not necessarily the best uses. Featured tracks include: "Say Aha" (>/+) by Santogold (one of my favorite artists right now) heard when Meredith quits therapy and Derek announces he wants Alex & Izzie to move out, "LOL" (>/+) by Little Jackie as everyone is hanging out at Joe's and "Pitter-Pat" (>/+) by Erin McCarley (another favorite artist) when Meredith tells Derek she won't kick out her 'family' and George finally gets to retake his test.
Private Practice showed some fun and emotion with two tracks: "Shake It Up" (>/+) by The Cars as Cooper leaves Charlotte for work and our second place track "Home" (>/+) by Foo Fighters (such a beautiful song) when Kirk is removed from the ventilator and the end montage.
Privileged delivered some new music with: "Common Reaction" (>/+) by Uh Huh Her as Megan confronts Lily over the bracelet and "Don't Let Go" (>/+) by Pacha Massive (I like this one quite a bit) when Will & Lily go out for drinks.
Finally, Chuck showed us again why it's the master at music placement. Featured tracks included: "Right Here Waiting" (>/+) by Richard Marx at Devon's 'Evening Of Seduction' and "Love It All" (>/+) by The Kooks as Chuck pulls 'The Montgomery'. But the most important song of the week is the best music use "Do You Believe In Love" (>/+) by Huey Lewis And The News as Sarah arrives at the Buy More and repeats as Ellie & Devon come home to the perfect date. It made a great tie in to the last episode's use of the same artist and it fit perfectly with the two scenes it was used in this week's episode.
Enjoy the music and I leave you with the video of the week.
