HoF - "Right Here, Right Now" by Fatboy Slim

Well, we're gearing up for the TVSM Awards announcement next week and in the spirit of great music uses, how about one of the all time best?  I've been watching all of Veronica Mars again this summer for the first time since the show ended.  I have one episode to go tonight and I am feeling that someone is ripping out my heart, AGAIN.  I have been remembering why this show is one of the best all time and it's bringing up all those spiteful feelings I had for its cancellation.  Even though I, and many others, would admit that the show wasn't the same as the first couple of seasons, I don't think they could ever top them, only do there best to continue great week to week writing.  Sometimes they succeeded and sometimes they failed pretty strongly, but the show is, was and will forever be one of THE BEST on television.  Period.  If you haven't seen it yet, you need to and here's a little more motivation to get you there.

As the ending to the first mystery arc in the third season, Veronica was once again in peril and it was set to some very recognizable techno from Fatboy Slim, "Right Here, Right Now".  The contrast between the fighting and the beat of the music, plus the fact that the song was used in two parts of the show, the teaser beginning and the actual fight scene, really made it all so much more intense than previous finales.  I think that this was better than the second season finale music and possibly better than the first season finale music.  Anyway, why don't you just watch it for yourself.  And if you still haven't seen the show, BUY IT.  You won't be disappointed.
