Eberg Interview

  1. We'll start off easy... Book or movie?
    Book
  2. Off the top of your head, name a song that you've been listening to the most recently.
Peter Bjorn and John - Young Folks
  3. Do you ever watch television? If so, what's your favorite show & why?
I don't watch TV much. I feel a bit restless and guilty when I do. Can't help it. I used to love the X-Files and stuff like that...and been tuning in to Heroes lately.
  4. Were you excited to learn your music would be aired on The OC?
I was very excited, it's a nice thing for an artist like me to get a song in there. And they use music in a nice way on that show...really cool.
  5. What impact has it had?
It's gotten more people aware of eberg and checking the music out, so a very positive impact indeed.
  6. When people listen to your music, how do want them to react to it?
On Voff Voff I almost wanted to irretate people... in a nice way. Just try and dress the songs up in an intresting way and have a bit of surprise element here and there.
  7. Have you always known that you'd want to create music?
Yeah, since I took piano lessons as a young boy... I never enjoyed playing the notes in front of me but I did enjoy just playing something and since then there has been no stopping me.
  8. Have any funny stories about performing or touring on the road?
I usually have a laptop with me when I perform but I've had problems with it as it tends to get nervous or too drunk or something and messes things up. I even have a feeling it's been looking at some pornsites or something as it seems to be feeling a bit poor lately. Don't know if it falls into being a funny performance story but when it breakes down it tends to be the best gigs, it's always nice when something surprising happens. Apart from the laptop there is nothing really rock and roll about eberg.
  9. You're stuck on the proverbial island and of course there's only one CD with you. Which one would it be?
It would have to be a blank CD-R... so I could mess around and print some new music onto it. Then I would be a happy man at a desert island.
  10. What are your hopes for the coming year?
Finish the 3rd album and get to play at some new places.
