BotW - "Feeling Good" by George Michael
If any of you watch Eli Stone, you'd realize that this week's choice was easy. Seriously, how could it not be? But before we get to the best, let's review the other great music from this week.
Over on The Hills we heard tracks from Great Nothern, a group that has been getting a lot of play over there. Their track, "Into The Sun" (>/+) was featured when Stephanie goes to the girls night out, leaving Spencer at home. There was also some new Britney Spears, and that's all you need to know about that.
The other hill returned with some great new music, that is One Tree Hill. "Drink Too Much" (>/+) by Tim Williams was heard during the therapist session, Brooke being asked about the men she has dated, and Peyton questioning Max about closing the music store. Jonathan Rice brought "It Couldn't Be Me" (>/+) to the show as Brooke is asked about Lucas, and Andy asks Lucas about Lindsey and the book. A cool song from The Hours called "Let Me Breathe" (>/+) played as Brooke is told she won't be allowed to adopt, Lily tells Lucas about a dream, and Max suggests that Peyton may have come home for a reason other than Lucas. We also heard "Home" (>/+) from the Foo Fighters at the end of the show.
Scrubs brought us its usually excellent ending track from Slightly Stoopid called "Collie Man" (>/+). While I didn't enjoy its use in the show as much as last week's from Bee Lee, I think I've found a new favorite track.
Finally, Eli Stone played some great music from beginning to end. "The Wildfire (If It Was True)" (>/+) by Mando Diao played as Matt asks Eli about his surgery. A great music choice from Starsailor called "Rise Up" was heard as Eli's friends gather in his hospital room. But the best of the best was the great use of "Feeling Good" (>/+) by George Michael. A great tie in to Eli's first vision in the beginning of the season, the song was a perfect fit to the end. It's actually one of those things you should just see to understand...
