BotW - "Enjoy The Ride" by Morcheeba
Starting this week, Best of the Week has returned! There were several decent uses of music this past week on Eli Stone, The Hills, and Scrubs. On The Hills, we heard what always seems like thousands of tracks. The best of the best included "Ready Set Go" (>/+) by Tokio Hotel when Spencer comes to pick up his aquarium, "Bounce With Me" (>/+) by Kreesha Turner when Lauren and company are partying at S Bar, one of my new favorites called "Killa" (>/+) by Cherish as Heidi and Stephanie party at Vice, and "Say (All I Need)" (>/+) by OneRepublic when Lauren returns home and finds out Heidi was just there.
Scrubs finally returned for a new episode and brought us a great track from Ben Lee called "Catch My Disease" (>/+) at the end of the episode. One of my favorite tracks, the song was also used on Grey's Anatomy during the second season.
Over on Eli Stone we got a few good tracks from Matt The Electrician called "Valedictorian" (>/+) when Eli is talking with the magazine vendor and Will Dailey called "Rise" (>/+) as Eli and Maggie discuss the future. But the most important track of them all and the best of this week was "Enjoy The Ride" (>/+) by Morcheeba featuring Judy Tzuke when Maggie and Eli are working late on the case. This was a nice fit to the scene and the tension between them.
Next week we'll have more episodes from these shows and the following week will be the return of a few other major players including Grey's Anatomy and Reaper.
