HoF - "Fix You" by Coldplay
Our Hall of Fame song this week comes from The OC. I've been in the process of finally seeing the entire show on Soapnet, having seen most of the final season this past year and falling in love with the show (although apparently a little too late). That's okay though. I just finished watching the final episode of season two and there was one moment (or series of moments) that really stood out. Check out how well Coldplay's "Fix You" fits this scene. Especially when Julie finds Caleb in the pool.
For such a common song, in terms of being well known, I think it fits these scenes very well. It doesn't overshadow the acting or writing, but provides a supplement to the mood. I've always listened to this song and wondered if it could fit my life. Alas, my life is not as tramatic as the lives of television characters. What do you think about this scene?
