HoF - "Full of Grace" by Sarah McLachlan
I’m back this week with another track from the TV music Hall of Fame! This time, I thought I’d go with that wonderfully haunting song which played at the end of season two of Buffy. You can watch the last 9 mins. or so on Youtube so you know what I’m talking about or relive the saddness. That song is so magical in that it fits so perfectly with the end of the episode and its tone. If I ended up killing my lover with a sword to stop hell from breaking lose on earth, that’s the same song I’d pick.
But seriously, I love the track. It is my favorite use of any Sarah McLachlan song on TV and actually one of my favorite songs of her’s period. You can listen to the track on the right.
P.S. This episode also contains one of the very best Christophe Beck scores, “Close Your Eyes.” LOVE IT! It’s one of the very best TV score compositions. Ever.
