Buffy 10 Year Anniversary
Yesterday, Buffy the Vampire Slayer celebrated its 10 year anniversary of the premiere episode’s first airing on the WB. I never began watching the show until about a year after it had its series finale. I watched the entire series, starting in April and I think I had it finished by September. It remains one of my all time favorite shows, with good reason. No other series could have such amazing drama, comedy and realness all within the context of a horror genre show.
So, in considering that I never had the chance to enjoy the show as it was, every week one episode and every year a new season, I am planning on reliving the show again but spread out over the full seven years. Will I really follow through? Maybe. Probably. All I know is, I want to enjoy the show the same way that the original viewers did, over the seven year stretch.
