BotW - Mirah "La Familia"
I’m back with a new “Best of” this week! Just about as straightforward as a song could be lyrically, Mirah’s “La Familia” was pretty obviously fitting for the scene after George and Izzie sleep together. The lyrics include “if we sleep together, would you be my friend for ever.” It can’t get any more fitting than that.
In other shows this week, Scrubs featured Brett Dennen’s “Ain’t No Reason.” Another good song choice but not quite as memerable as the Grey’s track. Saddly, considering I’m really only watching Grey’s Anatomy and Scrubs right now, there aren’t very many other shows that can be included in this competition. But, hopefully after the Grey’s spin-off and the new Josh Schwartz show begins next year, there will be plenty to talk about.
