BotW - "Unaware" by The Midway State
This week saw a dramatic downturn in well placed tracks. Compared to last week, this week was rather slim pickings, in my humble opinion. Therefore, my choice was a definite yes for The Midway State’s “Unaware.” The final scene of The OC where Julie changes her mind and finally shares a coney dog with you know who had a great buildup, mostly due to this song. You can listen to it in the player on the right.
In other news, I enjoyed a few other tracks from this week, namely The Golden Dogs “Yeah!” on Veronica Mars when Keith pulls up next to Sheriff Lamb with his uniform on. What a great moment and perfect song. I also liked pretty much all of the tracks from Grey’s Anatomy, but nothing really stood out as a great placement during the show.
Those of you that are super spoilerific, don’t read the rest of this paragraph. Next week’s Veronica Mars features music from Brown Recluse Sings called “Western Meadowlark.”
That’s all I’ve got for this week. Told you it wasn’t all that exciting. Hopefully next week will really bring it on.
