BotW - "Life Is A Song" by Patrick Park
This week’s number one song is one last hurrah for the OC. Patrick Park’s “Life Is A Song” wins this week’s best of award playing during the final montage of the show. One last time the OC brought us a handful of great music use this week including “Shine On” by Jet and “The New Seeker” by Clinic.
I was also very excited about “Swans” by Unkle Bob on Grey’s Anatomy. I liked the build up to the end of the episode and the song also helped make up for the depressing series of episodes during sweeps this month.
The only song I can remotely remember from Veronica Mars this week was “Swimmers” by Broken Social Scene, heard during the Mac/Bronson moment.
Next week, with the OC now gone, I’m going to make an attempt to start watching One Tree Hill in order to talk about its music on here. (And for that reason only.) That’s it for this week, (spoiler ahead…) but next week you can hear “Catch My Fall” by the Elliots on Veronica Mars.
